Our Challenge is to make "Bravery Bead" boxes for the very sick children in the IWK.
These children are given unique beads for each procedure they undergo; these beads are threaded onto a length of string. This is a way for them to record their journey through a serious illness which can go on for a number of years. The strung beads can reach lengths of 15 feet or more. Your box will give them a special place to keep that journey.
